AFKLIVETRANSLATE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY. BY INSTALLING OR USING AFKLIVETRANSLATE,
YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS EULA.

1. DEFINITIONS
"Licensor" means David Maus (Belgium) or the entity distributing the Software under this EULA.
"You" means the individual or legal entity using the Software.
"Device" means a single physical Windows computer.

2. LICENSE GRANT
Subject to this EULA and your payment (if applicable), Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the number of Devices covered by your purchase.

3. PERMITTED USE
You may use the Software for personal or internal business purposes, provided you comply with this EULA.

4. RESTRICTIONS
You may not:
(a) sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or distribute the Software except as expressly permitted by Licensor;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
(c) remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
(d) use the Software to violate laws, third-party rights, or platform/provider terms.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (OPTIONAL)
The Software can use optional third-party translation APIs (e.g., DeepL, Azure, Google, LibreTranslate) if you enable them
and provide your own API keys. When enabled, the text you translate may be transmitted to the chosen provider.
Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

6. UPDATES
Licensor may provide updates or patches. Some components (e.g., language packs/models) may be downloaded separately.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TRANSLATIONS MAY BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA,
BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS EULA.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE
TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. TERMINATION
This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it.
Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.

11. GOVERNING LAW
This EULA is governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Courts of competent jurisdiction in Belgium shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
